Support with dementia volunteering

Support people with dementia

Get involved with our events and activities for people with dementia and their loved ones. Help people affected by dementia to unwind, express themselves and connect. Our social support team host regular creative and mindful activities to boost wellbeing.

Gardening

Gardening

Plant flowers and help us maintain our small garden at The ReMind UK Centre to make a peaceful space for people affected by dementia to enjoy.

Fundraising

Fundraising Events

Run our charity stalls at fundraising events around Bath or help us to sell Christmas cards and raffle tickets. Raise awareness about our charity by talking with attendees.

Volunteer

Office support

Put your office skills to good use and help us with data entry, typing and sorting mailouts.

Dementia research

Research

Volunteer for dementia research to improve our understanding of the condition. You could complete short questionnaires or commit to a longer-term clinical trial. You do not need a dementia diagnosis to make a difference.

If you have any questions about volunteering, email: volunteering@reminduk.org. We may also ask your permission to keep your details on file until a suitable opportunity arises.

“I wanted to volunteer with ReMind UK because I wanted to work face-to-face with a diverse group of people, giving back to my local community, and in turn learning and building new skills for myself. I also wanted to gain valuable experience working with older people to aid me in my future career. I have had so many positive experiences whilst volunteering with ReMind UK – moments full of laughter and joy. I have learnt so much and made new friends. I would definitely recommend volunteering with ReMind UK to anyone who has a spare bit of time. And if that’s not enough incentive – the cakes are fab!”
