Activities and events

Regular free seasonal activities and events hosted by ReMind UK for people affected by a memory problem or dementia, along with loved ones. Come and connect with others at our friendly, creative and casual events!

Past events have included playing with poetry, inspiring visits to The Holburne Museum, team games and exercise, as well as picnics in the park.

Upcoming dementia-friendly activities and events:

Summer Picnic: Wednesday 31st July 2024

Join ReMind UK and Somer Valley Rediscovered for ‘Love Parks Week’ at Midsomer Norton Park (by the amphitheatre). Enjoy an picnic in the sunshine, bring your family and grandchildren too! 3 – 5 pm.

Museum Trip: Thursday 12th September 2024

Enjoy a printmaking and collage workshop at The Holburne Museum, Bath. Get inspired by contemporary artist Cilia Burman’s neon lights exhibition, then design and make your own bold printed textile hanging

Performance and Poetry: Thursday 17th October 2024

The Fun of performance & poetry. Join ReMind UK for a playful and fun session involving words, silliness, performance and poetry. 

 

These free activities are designed for people living with a mild to moderate memory condition, including Mild Cognitive Impairment and dementia. Join in to meet with others in a similar position and engage in a variety of exciting activities. Limited spaces are available per session, so make sure to get in contact if you are interested in attending. Support with transport can be arranged on request.
