Memory clinic
ReMind UK’s Memory Clinic has been serving the population of Bath and North East Somerset for over three decades. It is run by a team of highly skilled consultants, nurses and psychologists from our accessible dementia-friendly centre based on the campus of the Royal United Hospital, Bath.
The Clinic is rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. The inspection called the clinic ‘an exceptional, innovative service’. Inspectors were impressed that people are treated as experts on their own condition and are offered a rounded service of diagnosis, care and information together with research opportunities, all under one roof.
People who are worried about their memory can be referred by a health care professional such as their GP or individuals can refer themselves for private self-funded assessment.
You will need to have some scans and during your appointment you will undergo assessments and speak to our team of doctors and psychologists. You may then receive a diagnosis and if appropriate, a treatment plan. We will help signpost and connect both the person receiving a diagnosis, and those who care for them.
