Regular free seasonal activities and events hosted by ReMind UK for people affected by a memory problem or dementia, along with loved ones. Come and connect with others at our friendly, creative and casual events!
Past events have included playing with poetry, inspiring visits to The Holburne Museum, team games and exercise, as well as picnics in the park.

Holburne Museum Trip: 15th January 2025
10.30am – 12.30 noon
Discover the symbol of luck and good fortune of the ‘ho-ho bird’. These mystical creatures are hidden throughout the Holburne collection. Enjoy casual craft and collage to create your own lucky decorative bird ornament. Book your free place.
Spring Nature Walk: 21st March 2025
Somer Valley Rediscovered has partnered up with ReMind UK to run a spring time equinox event. Meet at the Somer Hall, Midsomer Norton for a gentle spring stroll, mindfulness and singing. Book your free place.
Sydney Gardens Trip: 7th May 2025
Enjoy a guided walk through Sydney Gardens, originally built as a bustling Georgian Pleasure Garden. Explore the garden’s rich history and the wonderful plants and flowers. Enjoy creating clay artworks imprinted with natural objects found from the garden. Book your free place.
Poetry in the Park: 13th June 2025
Do you like puns, rhymes and wordplay? Join us in the park on a summers day to chat about our favourite poems and come up with one as a group. Book your free place.
Tree Trail Walk: 15th September 2025
Learn more about the varied tree species and plant life right under our noses at The ReMind UK Centre. Enjoy a gentle tour of the trail and a fun quiz! Book your free place.
Team Games: 28th November 2025
Try out a new activity like kurling, badminton or darts! No experience necessary, only a willingness to have a go. Book your free place.
These free activities are designed for people living with a mild to moderate memory condition, including Mild Cognitive Impairment and dementia. Join in to meet with others in a similar position and engage in a variety of exciting activities.
