Roger Wood

Roger Wood volunteers his time for dementia research. He explains why this means so much to him:

“In the mid-90s my father Bill, a former fighter pilot and all-round sportsman, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He was referred to ReMind UK and I used to take him to the clinic for verbal and visual tests. They prescribed a new drug which transformed his life for about eighteen months, until the effects waned. When I retired, I volunteered for ReMind to try and repay some of the help that they had given him”.
